BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A drug incident forced the closure of the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center over the weekend.

Bellingham Police report that the center was evacuated on Sunday, July 9th, after a person was allegedly using drugs in a bathroom.

The person, who has not been identified, left the premises after being caught.

Arne Hanna was closed for the rest of the day as a precaution and will reopen as scheduled on Monday, July 10th.
